Join us at 5pm on August 5th, 2023 for our conference on Reconsiderations Within Contemporary Thomism

Schedule: 

5pm Mass at St Patrick's Seminary, 

5:45pm Onsi Kamel's lecture on "Place as a Metaphysical Problem for Contemporary Thomists"

6:15pm Brendan Palla will respond

6:30pm Q & A and general conversation between the speakers

7pm Dinner, and conversation continuing into the evening

Our Speakers:

Onsi Kamel (BA, MA) is a PhD student in the religion department at Princeton University. His writing has appeared in First Things, Ad Fontes, Mere Orthodoxy, and the Scottish Journal of Theology.

Brendan Palla (Ph.D.) is an associate professor of Philosophy at St Patrick's College and Seminary. He is currently working on Rage against the Machine, a textbook-length student-led role-playing scenario that explores the philosophical and social issues surrounding the industrialization of Manchester, UK, in the early 1800s.
